Hello,

I'm trying to connect the wifi extender but my router wifi 5GHz is not showing up on the scan.

I'm doing it on my laptop browser via http://tplinkrepeater.net/ Quick Setup and connected to the 2.4GHz extender as it says on the manual. It scanned my regular 2.4GHz and connected to that wifi and then continuing to scan the 5GHz network and it's not showing up on the scan.

I did a restart for my wifi router and also the wifi extender but nothing. I tried to add it manually too but didn't work.

I also tried two other methods. WPS and via Tether app and it didn't find my 5G network on the app either.

Please help me connect the extender with the 5G as well, thank you.

These are my wifis, 2.4 and 5G

And this is the scan after connecting 2.4GHz, the LJR81_5G is not on the list.

@SLilleke Please try to change the 5G channle on your router, such as channle 36, 40, 44 or 48.
