Deco P9 and frequent internet connection failure
I bought and installed a 3-unit Deco P9 system. It seems work work well but very frequently the internet connection is dropped. I have tried setting it up in Router and Access Point mode. Initially I had the Comcast modem/router in normal mode (i.e bridge mode disabled and WiFi on). However, after experiencing the frequent connection failures, I turned on bridge mode on the Comcast router and turned off the WiFi on the router. I have also turned off xfinity wifi capabilities from my user portal. However, the frequent connection failures happen in all modes. Sometimes I can go 4 to 6 hours with no failures and at other times the interner connection will fail every 5 minutes.
My topology is:
Coax cable -> Comcast modem/router
Ethernet Port 1 on Comcast modem/router wired to main Deco P9 on the 2nd floor
Two other Deco P9s are connected via WiFi one on the 2nd floor and the other on the 1st floor
Deco P9 is in Router mode
WiFi on Comcast modem/router is turned off via admin interface (http://10.0.0.1/admin)
Bridge mode on Comcast modem/router is Enabled
xfinitywifi is turned off (from Xfinity customer portal)
Please help.
