Hello.

 

I have 9x Deco P9 here and sadly already the first (Master) does not find the Internet.

 

So what works:

I can set it up by app, set the networkname, dynamic IP, password, connect and over.

Deco Led turns red.

 

I can connect to the wifi of the Deco P9 but it never hast internet connection (stays red)

Router restart and Deco restart...no changes

Already tested multiple devices of my 3 packages.

All show the same behaviour.

 

The Routers of my configuration:

1x Telekom Speedport Smart - typical basic ISP branded Router (could be Huawei) for 50Mbit DSL

 

second testing Platform.

AVM Fritzbox 6591 Cable

 

No succes on both platforms.

Hello.

 

Yes the Router is already configured. whatever device i connect to it by cable or wifi is directly connected with the internet.

So all the ISP stuff is already set in the router itself.

Hi, maybe the internet connection is not dynamic IP, or any VLAN ID required?

Is Telecom your internet service provider?

Do you have any computer which could connect to the Speedport smart or Frixbox directly so that we can use it to test the internet connection type?

For example, if the computer is able to get internet service without additional settings, the connection type would be dynamic IP, otherwise, it might be PPPoE or VLAN required.
