I purchased TP-Link | AC750 Wifi Range Extender  RE200 from one year

 

& I plan to change main router to TP-Link Archer MR600 4G+ CPE Router which support OneMesh

 

Should I change the extender & buy new one to operate OneMush .. or there is update for extender to make it work on OneMesh ?

 

Also does is matter if the rourter is AC1200 & extender is AC750 ?

 

Is there any relation between ACxxx no. for Router & extender ? should i buy same ACxxx no. for both ?

@AO1 What's the hardware version of your RE200?

 Please login to extender, and go to "System Tools--> Firmware Upgrade" to check this information.

 

Now, RE200_V3 &V4 all support onemesh function with new firmware.

I updated it & now version is 1.1.0 build 20190731 Rel. 41250 & it is up to date

@Kevin_Z I have an RE200 hardware version RE200 v2.0 and Firmware version 1.1.8 Build 20181113 Rel. 36494. I don't have the OneMesh option on the tether app, or on the web management. Can I use this device with my Archer A7 in a OneMesh network?
