Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.14 Build 20200220 rel.33197(5553)

Hi,
Encountering strange behaviour when using Archer A7 with Anydesk:
The router resets/reboot the moment I try to connect to another machine via Anydesk.
A7 log file is attached but not showing much.
Also own an older Linksys Wifi router. When used it in place of A7, Anydesk connects normally to other remote PCs without any problems.

My desktop is Windows 10 Pro.

Any comments or guidance is greatly apperciated.
Thank you.

Hi Kathy,
Yes, it can be stably reproduced. tp-link reboots as soon as I open Anydesk and before I attempt to connect to any other machine.

Anydesk:
Program Version 5.2.1
Commit: 55da9e2c

This is a simple home network. Smartconnect is disabled. No fancy configuration.
Current tp-link WiFi setting is as follows:
5 GHz
Mode: 802.11ac only
Channel Width: Auto
Channel: Auto

Also tried variations such as
Channel Width: 40 MHz
Channel: 149
No difference.

The 2.4GHz is on, but my laptop (Anydesk) automatically uses the 5GHz ac band to connect to tp-link.
Have also tried disabling 5 GHz ac and limiting WiFi to 2.4 GHz b/g/n mode only. No difference.

If you provide a secure link, will be happy to provide a backup of the router's Settings.
Thank you.
Mo-
