Hi, all.

I saw a similar issue on another very long post regarding the AX6000 but it is now plaguing me.

Every few days, all my devices on the second 5GHZ band (AX only 160mhz) get kicked off and cannot reconnect. When I log into the router from a different device I can indeed see the 5GHZ-2 band is empty.

I then have to manually reset the router for everything to start working again. That will last a couple days and then it happens again.

Honestly, I just bought this router about a month ago and I hate it. It's been nothing but issues. Between the band dropping everyone, QoS being flawed on anything other than Standard, band steering which is acceptable at best, to Link Aggregation blocking me from accessing my Q-Nap NAS, I really regret offloading my Asus GT-AC5300 and picking up this turd.

Thoughts?

@BBena i've just started having this issue too on the 5GHz-2 band.

I have the exact same firmware and build as you, resetting or restarting my router does nothing , I can no longer connect to the second 5 GHz band, I either get the password is incorrect or the device is unable to connect

any help would be appreciated!

@Moka sorry, my friend. I've given up on TPLink's AX11000. I returned it to Costco and picked up the Asus AX11000.

Is the Asus perfect? Nope, but it has far less quirks and a lot more right than TPLink's version. It was $100 cheaper than the Asus so I wanted to like it but it just didn't meet my expectations.

Good luck with yours.

My 5GHz is taking turn to have connection issue. First was 5GHZ-2, today is 5GHZ-1.

Need to power cycle the router to get it back working.

Both set at AX mode @ 160Mhz Channel Width.
