Archer A6 cannot get 1000mbps Internet, only 100mbps. Please help
Hi!
I just cannot get 1gbps Internet speed using this TP-Link Archer A6.
1). Provider uplink supports gigabit Internet, I tested it connected my laptop directly to uplink cable from ISP, speedtest.net showed me a 800 mbps speed.
2). When I connect uplink cable to TP-Link Archer A6 uplink port, and conencting the same laptop using WiFi (I configured 5GHz, 2.4 GHz is off), I only can get 90mbps from the same ISP.
3). My ISP says that my device sending "100full speed marker" (I'm not sure how it' called correctly). I've found in my Archer router setting called "Duplex" in "System Tools" / "System Parameters" menu, set it to "1000Mbps full duplex" value, pressed "Save" button and restarted router. After that I still get 100mbits Internet speed.
How can I setup my Archer to handle 1000mbits Internet speed? Should I setup some settings in my laptop's WiFi NIC?
P.S. Saying "1000mbps" I mean 600-800 mbps, of coursem not truly 1000mbps.
P.S.2. I noticed that emulator (https://emulator.tp-link.com/a6-ru-v2/index.html) has firmware version "1.0.1 Build 20190101 rel.12345" which differs from my "1.1.0 Build 20181221 rel.69231(5255)". Could it be the issue?
Thanks!
