What is the hardware version of your Archer C5? Is it V2 or V4?
When you disable the 5G wireless broadcast, did you reboot the router on its web UI?
If it will be enabled automatically again, is there any special operation you did on the router, like a reboot?

Hi,
Hardware is V4 ("Firmware Version:3.16.0 0.9.1 v600c.0 Build 190815 Rel.34526n Hardware Version:Archer C5 v4 00000004")
Yes I used the reboot button. (I saved the change - "save" button - and then used the "reboot" button. In this case it restarted 5 ghz immediately.
I also tried not using the "reboot" button in this case the 5ghz restarted after 1-2 hours.
I did other operations just turned off the 5 GHz band.
Thanks
BR.

Hello, thanks for the detailed information.
Archer C5 V4 seems a customized version for Service Providers in the local market, which means the firmware of the router might be self-designed by your ISP.
Generally, the support for this customized version will be covered by your ISP, and we suggest you contact your ISP first to check if there is any limitation on the firmware.

Hi
thank you quick answer.
The wifi router is not an ISP device. It was bought in a retail store.
It is "2nd" wifi router in house.
This is wifi router receives the input signal from an TP-Link TL-SG1005D switch
Thanks

My router is Archer C5 V4 (bought in retail) with latest version of FW Archer C5_V4_191107.
