Hello @Kevin_Z ,

I can not confirm anywhere if that supports Ethernet back haul.
If not, it's basically useless as you are turning an expensive Ethernet router into little more than a WiFi repeater.

Please explain.

@esrgkfdljfverks

Hi bro, as Kevin already stated in his post that ethernet backhaul is not available now but it is planned in future updates.

Ethernet backhaul is not the only benefit of implementing EasyMesh, EasyMesh also allows you to connect devices from different manufacturers, and it makes building a mesh network between routers also.

If ethernet backhaul is the thing you must have now, you should look for other mesh solutions such as Deco mesh. Otherwise, you may need to wait for EasyMesh to add the support for ethernet backhaul.smiley

This is handy. I have 2 AX55 and would love to mesh them. Wireless and wired backhaul.

  @ftibor This is also incredibly dissapointing for me that two TP-link routers that support OneMesh can't be used together in a mesh network. Its the kind of things that will make me want to switch to another brand's networking products even though I've stuck with TP-link throughout the years.  Would really appreciate a firmware update allowing us to do this.

@Kevin_Z Please if possible give me easymesh firmware for AX 10 router. I have two routers and spent alot of my budget. Ax-10 and Ax 55. I just want to make mesh with both of them easymesh is already installed on ax 55 now waiting for my ax 10 firmware if possible early release.

Regards,

  @Kevin_Z hello, did you update the firmware? I have 3 wired A6 at my home. But all of the router are separate network though are at same name and inside range. We wanted this onemesh technology for years, but still not supported.

@saidulhaquemh

Only EasyMesh allows you to connect the routers together and build up a mesh network as stated in this thread.

And only the latest Archer A6 V4 hardware supports EasyMesh. You can check the EasyMesn product list.
