If you want to connect this WA860RE to your existing powerline network via Ethernet cable, please change the working mode to Access Point as below:

Then plug it into the powerline adapter with an Ethernet cable.
I accesed the link the it is written in German, why?
My Wi-fii Range extender is Eu/1.1 the user interface is very different, I could not fallow the instractions from this link https://www.tp-link.com/de/support/faq/1401/
The user intreface has a grey dashboard with a green banner on the top. I suppose is a very old version.
