Hi, I'm trying to upgrade my M9 plus from 1.2.11 to 1.4 using the upgrade tool.
However the tool won't even let me log in using my TP Link ID and password! I can log in and out of the app and have even changed the password but still no joy. I've also succesfully logged in to this forum using it!
Any advice please? Thanks in advance

after following the advice, you still can't log in to the upgrade tool, there are still alternative ways. Or there will be an update of the upgrade tool in the near future. thanks in advance

Hi, the username and password are all case-sensitive. Please have a further check.
And I see that all your Deco’s firmware is above 1.4.0 which supported the web UI.
So if possible, please also try to log into the web interface of each Deco unit to update the firmware.

thanks for your response, tried all 3 methods but to no effect. Method 1 app says there are no updates. Methods 2 and 3 fail to login.
are there any alternatives?
the password is correct, because it works in the deco app on my iphone.

Hi, since I did not see similar feedback recently, so I tend to think it is a special case.
Would you mind trying to forget the password so that we can create a new one later,( please try something simple this time, like all numbers or letters) and test again?
PS: Resetting the password would not remove your previous configuration of the Deco network.
