Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.3.1

Hi.

I had a c2300. But replaced it with 3 M5's in Mesh.

The M5 was in router mode.

The network caved ater 2 hours.

The coverage was good

The speedtest in the routers was good 40Mb.

The speedtest from units was bad. 0-20Mb

I had to reestablish the c2300.

Can i add the v2300 to the mesh as master ?

I can see this is an option for other tp routers. When will the update for c2300 mesh function be available ?

@Rulevalley

Hello, sorry about that.

Please help verify more details and we will try to figure it out ASAP:

1. What is the current network topology/layout? How are the 3 Deco M5s connected?

2. Please refer to the below troubleshooting to check the QoS settings on the Deco app:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/2429/

After that, please run the speed test again and check whether it improves.

You may try to link the C2300 back into the Deco network, but the Deco can't build a mesh network with the non-Deco devices.

Good days.
