@spera

Hello,

1. For failing to login Range extender issue, please refer to this instruction to do some troubleshooting at first. https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/673/

Note: it would be hard to log in to Range Extender's Web page when it has the Internet. At that time router has assigned a new IP address for RE and you could use that IP address to login.
(RE's IP could be found on Router's clients' list and you may need help from router support to find that)

If you need further help, please let us know the troubleshooting steps you have tried in detail.

Did you connect to RE's wifi when trying to log in? What is the Error message if failed to login?

Please let us know the Led Status on your RE as well, thank you.

2. The password of the range extender must be the same as your main router.

3. Did you want to create a network on RE205 and hide the connected devices to the router, only the router can see what devices connected to the RE205?

May it help and have a nice day!
