WAN IP check remotely

Hi,
I can log-in remotely to my router with the Tether app, however I cannot find a way to check the current WAN IP of the router. My internet provider is changing my IP from time to time and using a third-party service is somehow annoying. Is there any way to check the IP in the Tether app (or any other way without a third-party service/solution)

You could try to set up the DDNS on the router, so later every time, if you try to ping the DDNS, it would show you the current WAN IP address:
