DLNA Blocker with AX50 in Access Mode
I got an AX50 and installed it in Access Mode with a variety of cable connection running through it. It replaced a D-link router that had been doing the same thing for years. The first thing that I noticed is that a DLNA server I have attached to it with a wire was not showing up on the network. There does not seem to be any settings in access mode that block or allow traffic. I "assumed" it should just act as an open switch.
Any ideas?

I forgot to reply. Installing the newest firmware solved the issue for me. 1.0.9 Build 20200708 rel.55037(5553)
I had to hunt to find the firmware as it does not show up on the Canada support site.

Hello all, our developer has provided beta firmware for the Archer AX50, which includes the IGMP option, so you can choose to disable or enable it from the router web GUI.
If anyone experiences the same issue that the DLNA server doesn't work or show up when connecting to the Archer AX50 (AX50 is working in AP mode), please download and install the beta firmware below, then try to disable the IGMP Snooping/Proxy to check if the issue can be resolved:
Note: Be sure you have read The Beta Test Agreement before proceeding!
Let the community know if the issue persists or gets resolved, thanks.

Hello,
Do you mean the DLNA server is connected to the AX50 access point with an Ethernet cable and it's no longer showing up on the network? Can you please show me your detailed network layout, how the AX50 and the main router are connected?
What if you connect the DLNA server to the main router directly, will it work?
Thanks.

Yes. The server is running on a PC. The PC is connected to the AX50 via a cable. The server does not show up on the network. If I replace the AX50 with an unmanaged switch, the server shows up. The AX50 is blocking the DLNA traffic. Everything else works fine. The PC itself shows up on the network.
The only device acting as a router in the system is between the network and the internet.

@Red90 as far as I understand, AX50 in AP mode locks admin access to UPnP, DLNA, SSDP, IGMP, NAT etc. Were you able to solve your issue? I'm preparing to return AX50 to shop just because of that. Echo Dot does not find smart devices using tp-link... I thought I'd give a boost to my WLAN, instead I had a joke made out of plastic for pretty serious money.

@Mihail.M I have not had a chance to do any investigation. I simply replaced it with a switch and put the AX50 to the side and only use it as a wireless AP.
As you state, there is nothing to adjust when in AP mode. I did received a message directly from them, but their solution is to put it in router mode. I don't want it in router mode.

I tried this and it was not the solution. When I switched to Router mode, the IGMP snooping function was already off.
It seems strange that setting in router mode stay active in AP mode.

Hello, do you have any suggestions yet?
I also use an AX50 in AP-Mode and a cable router for my network, connected with a patch cable. My TV is connected to the AX50, my NAS with the media files is connected to the router. DLNA protocol is not working in AP Mode.
Either I connect my TV to the router and mind going through the AX50, or I leave the AX50 in router-mode and deactivate "IGMP-snooping" AND "IGMP Proxy" in the IPTV-configs. Both are working but non satisfying solutions.
Wouldn't it be a easy solution, if you just enable the "IPTV" Config in AP-mode?
