Model: RE305
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Although the device has extended the reach there is still one stubbern area. If I bought a Ethernet plug which sends a signal through my house wireing and connected it to the ethernet port on my range extender would that allow me to move my range extender beyond my base station reach but still transmit a signal.

I'm asking because l don't want to buy a pair of plugs only to find it dosnt work.

Thanks

@Riverstar

Good day.

Thank you for your patience.

Do you want to work like this: take power-line units  TL-WPA4220kit for example

Router) ) Wi-Fi ( ( RE305---cable---power-line adapter~~home wire~~~power-line extender(extender the signal to the Wi-Fi dead zone )?

It is ok.

And the following setup is even better:

Router---cable--- power-line adapter~~home wire~~~power-line extender) ) Wi-Fi ( ( RE305;

Note: please make sure the whole house is under the same electric circuit.

Thank you.
