Frequent disconnection of the wifi network, even when only two devices are using the wifi network.

The router is new hardly used.

It is affecting my work heavily. Please suggest. I don't know where to get the version number from.

Device details" ROUTER WIRELESS TL-WR840N (TP LINK) S/N-2192092010186.

Hello,

What are those devices that will randomly lose the internet connection? Try a mobile app to analyze the Wi-Fi around you, review all the channels in 2.4GHz, then review the channels on the router for 2.4GHz. If the channels match that around you, an indication of overcrowded. Manually adjust the channels for 2.4GHz to lesser use channels.

There are other tips below. There are possibly other wireless parameters that need tweaking, such as Power Transmit, narrow or wide band, etc. but start with the above and below link:

May it help.
