I would like to change the name of my TL-WPA8635P KIT.

Now the SSID is TP-LINK_2B81 but i want to give it a more personal name.

Despite some help from TP support i can't get it fixed, seems a bit to complicated, anybody an idea ?

Thank you for your patience.

There are several methods to change the Wi-Fi SSID on the TL-WPA8630P:

  1. Via web interface: connect to TP-LINK_2B81 and go to http://tplinkplc.net, and log in via admin/admin; then go to wireless to change the SSID;
  2. Via PLC utility, such as https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1611/;
  3. Via tpPLC APP: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1576/
