Hello Team,

I just bought tp-link ac750 re200 wifi extender, and would like to installed it keeping mac filtering in router, as I have in all other devices at home. It fails when I enter MAC address printed on extender (same as shown in theter app). I also tried with extended 2,4G and 5G MAC address as show in app.  Ane to show me if extender mac filtering at router is possible and how to do so?

Last and not least, mac filters I have in router for all other devices, do they work if connected to the extended wifi?. If not, does it mean that any device might connect to the EXT wfif but not to the rotuer main wifi?

I would appreciate very much your help!!!

@Lavallexpress

Good day.

As for the mac filtering, please refer to this link to set it up:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2019/

And for the devices which have already been blocked by the router, they would also be blocked by the range extender as well.

Thank you!
