Looking  for a TP-Link  hi gain wifi router that will cover large house 5 bedrooms , 2 story and outside garden.

ISP is BT , so have a Home Hub 6,   Gaming and streaming / multiple devices connected at same time.

Is it worth changing the BT modem to a combined moden/router?   or keep the bt modem and just get a wifi router     Any thoughts and  recommendations appreciated?

Hello,

In order to get good coverage for a 2 stories large house, it is suggested to get mesh devices, like Deco M5 (2-pack) or Deco M9 Plus:

https://www.tp-link.com/home-networking/deco/deco-m5/

https://www.tp-link.com/home-networking/deco/deco-m9-plus/

One can be set up as the Router and the other can extend the wireless range to the 2nd floor.

May it help.
