Model: EAP225
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.0 Build 20180323 Rel. 32579(4555)

I own a EAP225/V1 and I want to add a powerline adapter so that I can have wifi in my garden shed. I want to create a mesh network so that I can use the same ssid in my existing eap225 and in the wifi module built in the powerline adapter. I want to be able to use both 2,gHz and 5 gHz wifi. Does TP-link have a powerline adapter with built-in wifi that supports this?

@DeMeester

Good day.

For the wireless power line adapters that both 2GHz and 5 GHz compatible, you could check the following models:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/home-networking/powerline/?filterby=5793%7C5794

 By the way, even though we can set up the same SSID on the power-lines with EAP, the two SSIDs are still not the mesh network;

Thank you very much!
