I have cameras installed in my home and all connected to deco mesh network. I noticed strange thing that whenever internet is not working then deco network doesn't let me see live feed of cameras though camera is online in network.  Can't i use deco without internet just for private home network ?

my camera model is Mi Home Security Camera 360°1080P. my phone and 8 cameras are on deco network still i cannot view the live feed though camera is online. not connected as guest. i have another 2 camera from ProElite IP01A WiFi Wireless HD IP Security Camera. these cameras work normally without internet in deco network. seems its something to do with mi CAMERAS

Hi,

 

May I have the model number of your security camera? Is it connected to the Deco E4 wireless network?

 

Generally, if both your phone and the security camera are connected to the Deco network, there won't be an issue to view the camera even there is no internet access on Deco. Can you please confirm if your phone and the security camera are connected to the Deco main wireless but not connected to the guest?

Hi, you are correct. If this is the case, it is suggested to contact the Mi camera support to seek for some help.
