Model: Archer C50  
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: idk

I wanted to use my router as an extender for my Huawei GPON. When I tried to use WDS for 2.4 band, it shows all the APs - of my network as well as my neighbour's.

 

However, when I tried to do the same for 5ghz, no APs are visible. From other forums I even changed the channel width of the Huawei Router to 40MHz, however that didnt work.

Hello, try to change the 5GHz wireless channel to 36/40/44 to give it a go on your Huawei GPON, then reboot the Huawei GPON as well as the C50.

I dont see channel option for 36/44 but I do have it for 20/40/80; I tried it with 40 but no luck!

20/40/80MHz should be the channel width, it is not the channel option. Is it possible to seek some suggestions from Huawei GPON?
