TP link archer ax3000/ax50 loses internet connection but my modem is not
My wifi router randomly loses its connection. After using it for almost 3weeks the router shows its flaws as the router loses connection, the cables are well plugged into the WAN port but it suddenly loses connection after a couple of hours. I have to reboot the router over and over again. My tethering app shows that the connection has been disconnected even my modem is connected to the internet. I have read a lot of troubleshooting and nothing seems to work.

Hello all, sorry to respond late.
May I know what is the network bandwidth provided by your ISP?
When the internet drops on the AX50, does it show WAN port unplugged or any error on its web interface status page? Is the Internet LED orange or green?
Ensure the cable between the AX50 and your ISP modem is good, try with another cat5e or cat6 cable if necessary.
Please reset the AX50 first and then log into its web interface, confirm if there is a status for the Internet Negotiation speed:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2472/
Try to change it to 100Mbps Full-Duplex or 1000Mbps Full-Duplex on System Tool-System Parameters.
Hope this helps.

Hello
My ISP is PLDT Fibr 25 Mbps and we are planning to upgrade to 100 Mbps
When the internet drops the internet LED turns into orange (i must unplug and replug to get the green light again but after few hours same problem)
i have tried changing the cat5e and cat6 cable several time with a new one still the same
i tried reseting the modem and still i get the same problem
(this problem came up after i updated the firm ware to 1.0.9 my friend who has the same router has the firm ware 1.0.8 doesnt have this problem.)
Please help me with this problem because it is hard for us to work properly due to this we are currently in WFH situation.

@Loading.... @Kevin_Z
Encountering the same problem on PLDT Home Fibr 100mbps and Archer AX50 v1. My problem started when my firmware was still 1.0.8.
Posted on this yesterday as well, but I'll post here also for reference:
"For the past 3 days, I have been experiencing recurrent (every few hours) disconnection of the WAN of the router with the LED indicator for WAN turning orange, despite the functional internet connection on computers directly connected to the ISP modem-router. I have not needed to reboot the modem, just the router, to restore the connection. However, I have tried rebooting both the router and modem as well but it hasn't helped.
The router was purchased just last August, and had been working well before, This issue was first encountered after I enabled the reboot schedule last Saturday (Sept 19), which I set to 4AM on Sunday. I've already disabled this feature, but the issue persists.
I have already updated the firmware to 1.0.9 since the issue started, and have tried the community recommendation to clone the MAC address of this computer that I had connected directly to the modem-router, but neither have helped.
Each time this happens, system log of the router says 3 things, all "Type: Led Controller" and "Level: Info":
1 - [1413] Start to run LAN_ON
2 - [1413] Start to run WAN0_OFF
3 - {1413} Start to run WAN1_ON
I'm attaching a screenshot here for reference. Please note that the system time was not updated until the last reboot."
Also, I've tried the recommendation to switch the negotiation speed from auto to manual select (1000 mbps full duplex), but it hasn't helped either. I've lost the connection at least an additional 5 times since I changed the negotiation speed manually.
Will monitor this thread for progress and recommendations. Thank you!

What is the solution? I have the same issue, nearly daily, which is troubling with our new work from home and learn from home scenarios.
The router loses connection to the modem and the LED is orange. Waiting and rebooting both systems is the only solution, daily.
I am very close to simply chalking it up as a loss and buying a new router.
