@zageng

Good day.

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Was the modem given by your internet service provider

If it is, the current firmware might be the customized by the internet service provider.

And you might need to check with them to see if it could be update to a common firmware and how;

Thank you very much.

Hi, Sorry for the delay,

Did you check with the internet provider already? Or who is your internet service provider? and where are you located?

Or the modem was not given by the internet service provider

Since we did not see your current firmware in the database, and if it is customized by the internet provider, it could not be upgraded back to the normal firmware without the help of transitional firmware;

Thank you very much.

@zageng

Good day.

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

After checking all the posts on the thread, it seemed like the original firmware is

VR400 V2-build 170719, which belongs to the EU version; then you found the following firmware on the UK official website:

ArcherVR400(EU)_V2_200706, and updating this firmware, which is also EU version;

Then we have sent you the two beta firmware and that is where the problem began, you might have updated the beta firmware of AU version:

VR400-V2-190218;(EU should be on build 190128)

Since there is no AU firmware available on the official website about Archer VR400 V2 now, please wait for a moment and let me check with the senior engineers and get back to me by email.

Thank you very much for your understanding and support.

thanks!

Update:

please also make sure you choose the bin file for the upgrade, not the whole zip folder;
