Archer TX3000E firmware update causes lower download speed
Dear tp-link community,
Having purchased the Archer TX3000e network adapter, I installed it in my computer and installed the driver from the CD that came with the box. I connected to my 5gHz network and got download speed of 280 Mbit/s (My ISP gets me 300 Mbit/s). What worried me, though, was the upload speed: 2 Mbit/s out of theoretical 30 Mbit/s. I thought that maybe the firmware on the CD was out of date and downloaded the lastest driver from the tp-link website. To my surprise, the download speed went down to 120 Mbit/s now. How is that possible? All other WiFi devices get normals speeds if placed in the same exact position as my PC. The distance between the computer and my WiFi 6 router (Asus Zen) is 2 meters and there are no obstacles whatsoever in the way. Right now my iPhone 7 and my wife's laptop are getting around 280 Mbit/s and 28 Mbit/s of upload.
