Hey all,

I've done a scan on my router to see what ports are opened to public -

a lot of ports are opened on my external IP as well to my internal.

And I can't seem to find a way to fix that, I've tried looking through the settings and disabling anything that resembles FTP/Telnet/SSH/etc.

And still the ports are showed as opened.

How can one close his desired ports?

@ElPhnek

Good day.

Thank you very much for your kind reply.

May I know what are the posts that had been reported open to external IP as well as internal IP??

Currently, port 80 is used for local management for HTTP;

Port 443 is used for local management for HTTPS;--you could find them under advanced>system tools> administration

Port 20 would be used to cloud control on the Tether APP, not for SSH or telnet;

Thank you very much.

Hey @Sunshine

I've tried to close the following ports -

  • 21 - ftp
  • 22 - ssh
  • 23 - telnet
  • 1900 - upnp
  • 8200 - upnp

Without any sucess.

What I meant regarding the external IP is that the mentioned ports are being exposed on my external IP as well

How can i close those ports entirely ?

Thanks in advance,
