May I know the model number of your home router?

When you set up 80mhz on the router, were other mobile devices able to detect the 5ghz ?

Have you tried to change the wireless channel on the 5ghz to be channel 36-40 when it is on the 80mhz to see if that helped;

What Is the region code of the RE205, US or EU version?

Since we had the same feedback recently, it turned out the 5ghz channel is stick to channel 149 on Nokia ONT router (model - G-2425G-A) and RE205（EU）does not support band 4（channel 149-165）, only band 1/2/3 due to CE certification；

So if possible, please try to contact the router support to see if they could help us change the channel to be 36-48;

If it is really on the band 4, since RE205(EU) does not support band 4 due to CE certification, and if you just bought it, you might consider return the RE205 back to the shop retailer for a refund;
