Not able to get speed more than 100Mbps
Hi
Eventhough my internet service is 200Mbps connection, i am not able to get more than 100Mbps speed though Archer A5 in Wireless Router Mode.
How to fix the Archer A5 to receive the max speed that my internet connection supports?
Thanks,
Srinivasarao

@IrvSp Thanks for your reply.
But the issue seems to be with the h/w. I have selected a wrong product for my purpose.
My purpose is to utilize the service provider's bandwidth to full extent. But the WAN port can support max of 100Mbps.
I am not sure how this Archer A5 model can bring 1200Mbps as it claims when the WAN port is limitted to 100Mbps.
Waste of money :-(

I have verified it in the datasheet downloaded from tp-link website.

Right now, all I know is the router you selected to post under (if that is the one you have?) IS the Bottlekneck. " 1× 10/100 Mbps WAN Port "!
100Mbps IN, and that IS the Internet speed you can achieve on ANY device, no matter HOW connected.
Now it is an AC1200 router:
AC1200
5 GHz: 867 Mbps (802.11ac)
2.4 GHz: 300 Mbps (802.11n)
But you can ONLY achieve those speeds between LAN devcies. Almost useless to most people.
You need a Router with a "1x 100/1000 Mbps WAN port". Check here, https://www.tp-link.com/us/home-networking/wifi-router/?filterby=5756, but these are probably more expensive.
The A5 is $35 at Amazon, but the A6 ($50 at Amazon) and A7 ($64 at Amazon) both have 1Gb WAN ports which is what you need.
