Model: Archer VR2100
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 0.9.1 v009e.0 Build 200116 Rel.60756n

Hi,

despite the fact that VR2100 modem should have USB 3.0 the writing of data to attached external HDD is extremely slow – around 13 MB/s. Normally when copying anything between 2 PCs over LAN the speed is from 90 MB/s up, the same for direct copying once disk is attached into PC's USB (around 100 MB/s). The attached disk to modem is mounted as network drive.

Many thanks for your help

Best Regards

Josef

@jmxjmx2

Hey, I used to have Archer VR1600V and the USB writing speed is almost 5MB/s(40mb/s);

And the support told me it was normalcool.

@Lawrence-C Oooooh, I see. Then those 13 MB/s seems that I am the lucky one. That's bad. That's really bad. I mean bad for TP-Link as people will stop to trust their products and specifications of their products at all.To have a regular  USB 3.0 port with 13 MB/s or lower  speed that is ridiculous.
