Model: Deco X60
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Unknown

I am going to be setting up my Deco three piece system soon and was wondering how I can use my existing gigabit TP-Link powerline adapters with it. I recall reading that they can be used to create a dedicated Ethernet backhaul since it is only dual band but how does that work? Is it as simple as just plugging the satellites into the adapter and the primary router Deco in the adapter and it will take care of the rest? Or is there additional configuration to make sure it uses the Ethernet links as a backhaul?

I haven't really dug into the instructions yet but I did a search here on the community forums and didn't find anything specifically discussing this topic.

Hello,

Yes, you may just connect the Deco X60s to the powerline adapters, and the powerline will appear as Ethernet connection to the Deco X60, then the Deco X60s will build up the Ethernet backhaul automatically.

Deco X60-----Ethernet cable-----powerline A=====powerline B-----Ethernet cable-----2nd Deco X60-----Ethernet cable-----powerline C-----Ethernet cable-----3rd Deco X60

I hope this make sense.
