Hi I am trying to use my router to connect to my home WiFi and then connect by cable to my TV box which does not have wireless capability .I have successfully connected my to link to my home network but when I plug in to the TV box I have no success

Any suggestions would be a help

I think you may contact with the TV support to seek some suggestions as the internet on the WR841N seems working fine. You may also confirm if your TV can get a valid IP address when plugged into the LAN port of the WR841N, if not, you may try with a static one.

Thanks for your prompt reply I have used a tp link travel router in the TV box and it works fine.I think the problem may be that I am setting the router up incorrectly eg wrong mode but I'm not sure.Is there a step by step method for setting it up for using the ethernet ports?
