Model: TL-WA901ND
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version:

I bought a TP-Link access point model TL-WA901ND 450Mbps, I connected it to my router via Ethernet cable CAT6 (PoE).

When I do a speed test for the access point, it gives only 20-25Mbps while the speed test of the router gives 100Mbps.

Is there any solution to this situation?

@Alandjani

Hi, sorry for the delay.

Could you please help me check the following information:

1. How long have you had the 901 and when did this issue start?

2. Have you tried to factory reset the 901ND to have a look?

3. Did all the mobile devices have the same issue?

4.Would connecting the 901 to another port from router make any difference?

Thank you very much.

@TP-Link

Thank you for your reply, these are the answers for your questions:

1- I had the AP for almost 6 months now, and the issue is stared from the beginning. It always  gives 20-30 Mbps speed.
2- I did the factory reset many times but the AP still gives Low speed.
3- Yes, when I do speed test on all the devices (mobile phones and laptops) that connected to the AP they have the same problem.
4- Actually I tried this one also but it didn't make any difference.

I really appreciate your help and support.
