I have just switched to Origin broadband from TPG. I have an existing NBN connection. 

Origin Broad band confirmed with NBN that the internet is working to my house.

I purchased a new TP-Link modem on Saturday. My laptop can see the TD-W9960 via wifi. 

But i cannot get the NBN to connect with the TP Link modem.

After 3 attempts with Origin Broadband to create the link ....I have been instructed to contact TP-LINK to escalate and resolve the issue.

I need your help

But if not, please refer to this instruction to change the W9970 into an NBN-ready wireless router:

Well thanks for getting back to me.

6 weeks is a long time and makes this TP Link "help contact" pretty ineffective and pointless. 
Maybe things will become more efficient...

Perhaps do something else, as this did not have any effect other than surprise me that you even replied, all the best.
