Hello all,

TLDR: Satellites disconnect from the router. LAN doesn't work.

I've set up my M4 as a router and can use the WiFi and LAN port without any problems. However, whenever I set up the satellite M4's they disconnect (usually) after a few minutes. When they stay connected for a little longer, the LAN doesn't work - it simply says "unidentified network, no internet"... Then it disconnects.

The WiFi signal is good between the M4's, they just randomly disconnect.

Any help would be appreciated.

@GeoffRichards

Good day,

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Could you please help me check the following information:

1. Would the satellite Decos turn red when they are disconnected from the main Deco?

2. What is the status of the satellite Deco on the APP When it lost the connection

3. Would change a different Deco as the main Deco make any difference?

Thanks a lot and wait for your reply.

@TP-Link

Recently I had purchased a Deco M4 and while setup, the firmware was upgraded to 1.4.3 Build 20200918. I have an issue with the satellite unit. After the initial setup, when I shifted the Deco to the nearby room, the wifi link disconnects and there is a red led pulse. Once I bring it near the main deco unit, it connects. I had done factory reset/swapping the decos uninstall and reinstalling Deco app. Please help me I am frustrated with the setup. I am on a 100 Mbps connection.
