Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi, I own 2 Archer C6, one is the main router and the other is an access point connected to the main. It loses just the 2.4ghz wifi everyday (sometimes even twice in a day) and all keeps working normal. All mobiles and smart appliances connected to it and working on the 2.4ghz, seem to be offline. You have to reboot the router and all is fine. Is there a bug that maybe can be fixed please?

Thanks

@Smiden79

Hi, thank you very much for reporting the issue to the community. Can we have more details then try to figure it out?

1. Are all devices connected to the 2.4G network will drop out, no matter they connect to the main 2.4G or to that of the access point? Are the 2.4G network using the same channel? Try to change the channel on the main to 1/11, then change the channel on the access point to a different one, then reboot the C6, reconnect to the network to confirm.

2. How many devices are connected to the 2.4GHz network, what are they? Are all wireless devices connected to the 2.4GHz experiencing the same dropout or just some special or old clients? If the devices are still connected to the 2.4GHz network but no internet access, please confirm if the devices can still get a correct IP address from C6, what is the IP address? Can you ping the C6 gateway and internet?

3. Is the 5G network stable on the C6? Who is your ISP? Please ensure you are running the latest firmware on the two C6s.

4. What if you only power on the main C6 and leave the access point powered off, will the 2.4G be stable?
