Hi There,

 

Just bought this T9UH V2 from retailer, mainly aim for its 5G connection.

 

I see some threads saying something it cannot discover 5G router network.

 

Mine is good to discover both 2.4 or 5G network in my router.

 

However, no matter I connect to 2.4 or 5G, the connection will drop out intermittently. 

 

Sometimes, using 2 minutes and the Internet browser prompt no internet connection, sometimes 5 mins, just randomly.

 

It is very very frustrating, I have tried to contact the tech line, and the man sent me a link below, and ask me to update the adapter driver manually, but it doesnt help at all.

 

These are what I tried already:

 

1. update the driver manually from this link  (I'm using Wins 7 64Bit)

2. Change the 5G channel to 36

 

3. Change different USB ports in my PC

 

Please help or I am going to refund this adapter. Thanks in advance

We would like to follow up on your case by email and please have a check of your email box later.

At the same time, could you please help me check the following information:

May I know the model number of your main router?

Would the computer with T9UH be the only device that had the instability issue?

Could you please help me check the IP address and default gateway when the computer lost the internet connection?

If possible, please try to update the following driver to have a look:

@TP-Link Thank you for replying. Yes, I have replied to that email. My router is Tp-Link VR1600v v1.0 Yes, the pc with this t9UH is the only device for this problem. All my iphone , samsung phones and iPad can connect to 5G or 2.4G network without problems. IP: 192.168.1.109 Gateway: 192.168.1.1 I will try to update the driver after this reply. Cheers
