Small tips for those who have problems with TP-Link modems.

If the modem is slow, if it disconnects frequently, use these precautions, mind you: they do not necessarily solve all problems, but they could improve the user experience a little while waiting for the fixes to the various FWs. If the modem is slow:

1) disable if the printer is not connected, and the QOS (Both the QOS on TP-LINK modems and always the last to be fixed, [if it is fixed]) For modems with firewalls and DDOS attacks, also disable this function.

On the home page, activate the two ticks on the DSL connection except DT for some modems, because the function is valid only for optimization with German Telecom.

If the modem responds very badly or is very slow to respond, reset it with the button with the word "Reset", reflash the FW to the last available one and redo the confguration by hand. (Do not reflect the saved configuration or you risk going back to the starting point.)

For those who find the WI-FI slow, waiting for the fix go to the WI-FI page, put the bandwidth on 2.4 at 40Mhz and that of 5Ghz at 80Mhz, if it does not improve, check via the same modem by scanning the network wi -fi if your neighbor is not on the same channel, in case you change the channel.

Pay attention to video repeaters traveling at 2.4 Ghz could break down the signal on this frequency, as well as microwave ovens.

For 5Ghz amateurs, do not worry if 5Ghz is much more "Blanda" and does not go far, it is a matter of physics, the higher the frequency the more the waves bounce off obstacles instead of penetrating them.
