Model: Archer VR400
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 0.4.0 0.9.1 v0070.0 Build 201104 Beta.38939n

After updating to new beta firmware, i have noticed that Tp-Link vr400v2 emitting a hidden network, i want to disable it but firmware doesn't have the option, after reading some articles i have known that this hidden network is used to connect the OneMesh extenders. So does this means that vr400 v2 supports onemesh or not?

THANKS IN ADVANCE

@Ahmedhamdy

Hi, I am sorry that there is still no plan for Archer VR400 V2 to support Onemesh.

But I am quite curious about the hidden SSID and could you please send me some pictures of the hidden SSID?

And please also check the wireless settings on the VR400 to see if either 2.4ghz or 5ghz is hidden;

Thank you very much and wait for your reply.

@Ahmedhamdy

Thank you very much and I have reported your case to the senior engineers now and they are checking on it;

By the way, if you turn off the Archer VR400, would the hidden SSID disappear?

And since you noticed this issue after the firmware upgrade, did you notice the hidden SSID on the previous firmware?

Thank you very much and wait for your reply.
