Mesh vs same SSID wifi
Hello,
I am interested which technology/products to build a WiFi network for a relatively large home residence (~4000 sqft) with garden (~30000 sqft).
Current solution will be replaced (only modem from ISP will remain).
Target is to have 1 SSID for the whole area.
There are ~10..20 static devices and ~10..20 mobile/WiFi devices that shall be served during moving on the property.
WiFi range matters, garden has large distances from the nearest AP (100+ ft).The larger range the better.
The idea1 (Mesh) is to go with 3 pieces of Deco XC60, 1 placed at modem as a main router indoor, 1 satellite connected with ethernet to the main router at the back of the house indoor and 1 satellite placed outdoor connected to the 1st satellite (~30..40ft).
The idea2 (WiFi routers as APs) is to go with 3 pieces of Archer AX73, broadcasting the same SSID. The placement of them is the same as in idea1. The garden access point would operate as a WiFi bridge device. Range seems better with this device, then XC60.
Any other solutions/ideas are welcome.
Thank you,
Gergely
