Model: Archer VR400
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 201109 Rel.54507n

My provider assure me that switch my connection from ADSL to VDSL but my router in DSL Status show DSL Modulation Type is ADSL_2plus.

Hoe can I assure that DSL on my connections is realy VDSL?

@csTeam My problem is Fixed. Best way is delete profile @ Adnaced Menu / Network / Internet. Than Quick Setup show VDSL provider options.

@csTeam

A lot can be told from the speed of your internet connection.

Usually the following is the standard

ADSL is  1-8mbps

ADSL 2+  is  9-24mbps

VDSL is  25-85

If you can send us a screenshot of what you are seeing, that might tell us more :)

Hey

Looking at the screenshot your down speed is 13172 (13mbps) which does put you in the ADSL2+ range, it doesn't look like you are getting VDSL.

You mentioned your ISP had moved you over to VDSL?   If that is the case did you re-run the quick setup wizard again on the VR400?    It could be that you are indeed upgraded, however you need to tell your router that as its still trying to connect you to an ADSL profile.   Running the wizard would sort that (or do it manually if you feel confident).  If running the wizard select _VDSL for your ISP and see if that helps!

Did notice you SNR (signal to noise) ratio is 10.9 which is good, most people average 7-9 so 10+ is well above average, you are likely not far from the exchange or have a decent copper connection

Hey

There are 2x options for you

1.  Cancel the wizard and check for a firmware update on the router.  The ISP settings are included / updated in the firmware updates

2.  Use that OTHER option and set it yourself, the info for VPI  VCI  and Connection Type  is likely on your ISPs website somewhere.   Who is your ISP?

Just ignore the BT_VDSL was just an example, im in the UK and have a my ISP is BT.      Its more the _VDSL
