Deco P9 / Firmware update 1.1.3 Build 20201228 Rel.55057
Deco P9 / Firmware update 1.1.3 Build 20201228 Rel.55057
Since updating firmware version 1.1.3 Build 20201228 Rel.55057, my internal internet connection via the Deco 9 has become slow and unstable.
Prior to the update everything has been fine for over 12 months.
I now have issues with connectivity dropping every few minutes.
I have a great broadband speed of 1g and have checked my broadband link and all is as normal.
Its alarming that prior to this update everything worked perfect.
As I work from home this is very critical to either turn back to the old firmware of something is fixed to change this issue.
I have became very disappointed with this product.

Hi,
Did Deco P9 work on the access point mode?
Would any Deco turn red when the connection dropped out?
At the same time, please have a test of the following firmware to see whether it helped or not:

Hi, Did you mean whether there is a new official firmware except for the debug firmware 20210115?
--I am afraid not and the new firmware is still under testing and not available yet;
Thank you.

Hi, no updated news has been informed yet.
Normally the new firmware will be released on Fridays and you could regularly have a check.
And do you have any issues currently on the P9?
Thank you.

I do have an issue with the current firmware. It does not seem to have an option to disable UPNP which is a security risk.

Hi, here is a firmware that added the UPNP on/off switch, and please refer to the private message to install the firmware.
Thank you very much.
