Hello everyone! I recently bought this adapter, Archer T4E, and I cannot connect to my Samsung TV.  I can see the TV in the devices, I press connect, it says that my PC connected with the TV, and then after 1 sec, they get disconnected.

 

Here is what I've tried so far:

 

  • Downloaded the latest drivers for the device from the TP-link website
  • Downloaded the latest Windows 10 update
  • Disconnected the device from the Device Management, restart PC, and then let it find a driver on its own
  • Attempts to connect both the TV and the PC to both bands (2.4 & 5GHz)
  • Tried older drivers for the device Archer T4E. 

 

Nothing worked. I can connect to the Wi-fi, but it seems the miracast part is not working? I've also tried to connect to my TV via my laptop, just to check if my TV has something wrong. My laptop connected perfectly.

 

Any ideas? After each driver download, I always restart both TV and my PC. It just won't connect.

Please disable the built -in wireless adapter when using T4E. 

It is recommended to try this public driver and see if it helps:

If still the same time, may I have a photo of the Error that adapter failed to connect to TV via Miracast? 

May I know the model of your Samsung TV and also a photo of your motherboard info on computer:

I don't have any build-in wireless adapter. My motherboard doesn't have WI-FI capabilities. If that is not what you mean, can you please explain?

 

I downloaded the zip and tried to update the driver of the adapter manually. I get a message that the best driver for this product is already installed. I then uninstalled the device from the Device Manager and tried again both with and without internet (to avoid Windows finding a driver itself). Again, a message that the best driver for this product is already installed.

 

I then right-clicked the netrtwlane.inf file and press "Install". After that, I attempted to connect to my TV, but I couldn't. I do not even know if that install did something.

 

Model of the Samsung TV: UE50TU7172 2020 model

They are in greek, sorry. Tell me if you need any clarifications.

In the green rectangle, it says that it's connected to my TV, and then after 1 sec, it says "Disconnected". And my monitors ( I have two) both blink for that second.

@KaRouLi Hello, 

 

So far I could not exclude the possibility that T4E does not support Miracast, to locate the problem, we would like to have a specialist look into this further via email  -subject with forum ID  '   265444 '. Please check your mailbox later, and let us know if the issue is resolved, thank you.
