Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.9 Build 20200708 rel.55037

Hello everyone!

I'm having an issue that is driving me crazy for the last 6 months.

I have a modem/router from my ISP in argentina (TELECENTRO). It is a Sagescom Fast 3896 (WIFI 6 model). from that modem/router I connect the Archer AX50 to one of the gigalan ports of the Sagescom into the WAN port of the AX50.

The AX50 is in AP Mode in the "Operation Mode" Menu.

I have a notebook with UTP connected to the AX50 and a cellphone through WLAN

The problem is that randomly keep recieving the "Phone without connection. Check an active connectino to Internet" in the web application. I can be connected for about 1 o 2 hours without the message and suddenly start to show up like every 5 or 10 minutes.

The cellphone is 2.4 only.

Things that I already done:

Disable the WLAN from the AX50 so the phone can connect to the wifi through the Sagescom > works!

Disable the Band Steering in Sagescom and Smart Connect on AX50 > fail

Get 2 different SSID for 2.4 and 5 on both AX50 and Sages > fail

Made the WLAN open with no encrypt > fail

Set AX50 as router and create separate networks > fail

Check cellphone deep sleep app and settings > fail

Check the cable from sagescom to ax50 > same issue

Is really annoying this behaivor.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

@eltecnicucho That's on WhatsApp, not your router. I have same issues, doesn't matter what router I'm connected to. It was working perfectly few days ago and then it suddenly stopped. To make it work, I have to open WhatsApp app on my phone and then it instantly connects.

mmm and why if I turn off the WIFI from the AX50 I don't get the disconnected message and even receive new chats? Seems to be fail something. If it was whatsapp it would happen even on 4g don't you think?
