OneMesh is not enabled.

When I log in to the Repeater device and invoke certain functions that require internet connectivity, it is not working. 

  • When I click on 'Check for update' it says 'unable to connect to the cloud server'
  • When I click on TP-Link cloud and try to log in, it says 'Request timed out' 


But my laptop or mobile is able to connect to this repeater and they are able to access the internet without any issues. I am able to login into the tp-link cloud from my laptop that is connected to this repeater. 

 

My access point is Archer AX20 v1.20 and is working in Access point Mode. On My access Point, I am able to check for Firmware updates and get them installed.

Thanks for reminding. We have added the RE605X in the system now.

 

The Onemesh router can only build up the Onemesh network with the range extender when it is working in Router mode. You may check the QAs in the below article:

As for the Cloud account issue, can you please confirm if this RE605X firmware is the latest, if not, try to update the firmware manually to the latest first, then check again if it can connect to the cloud. You can download the latest firmware for the RE605X from the below link:

Then refer to the guide below to update it:

@Solla-topee I upgraded the firmware manually to the below version.Now it is working fine. 

 

Firmware version : 1.0.4 Build 20210514 Rel. 195836

As the Model RE605X was not avaiable in the list, had to select RE603X
