Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: Latest

Hi

I have archer c6 v3 and want to take advantage of OneMesh technology and get a new device for myself.

Will buying another archer c6 help me achieve this? I do need a device very quick but wont be able to puchase re300 quickly as it is not available in my region. Re200 is available though but its old and I wanted something new and get a setup that lasts me at least a few years.

Thank you

@Aaksz

You can't build OneMesh network with two routers - refer OneMesh FAQ - Q10/A10.

@terziyski Thank you for the reply. I now bought TP-Link RE200 extender which is available in my region.

@Aaksz

Make sure RE200 you bought is HW v4 or higher. Here's a list of OneMesh compatible REs.

I got re200 v5. It does support onemesh. The technology is great. Just one problem now, the repeater seems to get too hot.

Hello @Aaksz and everyone who is looking for Onemesh between two routers,

I'm updating here to let you know that there will be a new feature called EasyMesh added to the TP-Link routers and range extenders, which will allow you to build a mesh network between two routers wirelessly.

Please visit the following thread to know more about how EasyMesh will work, leave your comments there if you have further inquiries:
