Model: TL-MR6400
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

I have placed the router in remote location for CCTV camera viewing with Idea 4G Sim. But every now and then the cameras cannot be remotely viewed. Only if I restart the router internet comes back. And going to remote place is very difficult. I started thinking of having a remotely controlled electrical switch but too needs internet. If TP Link provides for remotely controlling feature in the router by SMS using a password management for a restart/reboot then life will be easier. Why should a router go out of internet on its own? Does the router have some intelligence of switching between bands if internet fails in GSM internet ready band and the router starts looking for internet in other bands automatically.
