Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.1 Build 20200907 rel.76867(4555)

I use this model behind another router, connecting only via the LAN ports.

This way the Archer cannot connect to IP-s outside my LAN.

In any other router, I would set a static routing entry for this problem, to use my main router as gateway for ANY addresses, but here I cannot.

Whats the reasoning behind this? How can it be fixed?

@Miberecz

Do you mean the Ethernet connection between the main router and the AX73 is LAN-to-LAN? Did you configure it to work as an access point manually?

Try to change the working mode on the AX74 to Access Point, and connect the main router's LAN to the WAN port of the AX73, then check again if the issue persists.

@Kevin_Z

Yes, I tried that with lan-to-lan.

Yes I tried AP mode, but thats not the point. I want to use network isolation between my two SSID-s, and its only possible without AP mode, but than the router has problems connecting outside of LAN.
