Hello. I wanted to know what is the limit of simultaneous connections that this router supports in both WIFI 2.4 and 5.8 and if there is a limit for the router itself.
Thanks!

Hello, the maximum No. of associated wireless clients for each band will be 64.

However, we will not guarantee nor can we give you a precise number that you can connect, the maximum number of concurrent clients which wireless routers can handle is mainly restricted to router hardware and network environment. The specific number depends on the summed up traffic that is generated and the bandwidth given by your ISP. For example, if some clients in your network are doing uTorrent/P2P downloading or playing online games, most of the bandwidth and system resources will be occupied, then only a few clients can enjoy the network; but if all the clients just do ordinary web browsing, or generate extremely little traffic, then the router can handle much more clients simultaneously with good network performance.

@Kevin_Z

Thanks for the reply. The question about the maximum number of clients that the router supports comes because I have around 25 devices on 2.4 (most with low bandwidth consumption) and some devices on 5.8 (around 10). When all the devices are connected to the 2.4 network, it goes down and I have to restart the router or go down and up the 2.4 network to make it works again. Could this be a fault in the router or is it due to the number of clients it supports simultaneously? I tried to separate the networks, join them, change the channel, put it on automatic, etc, etc and nothing works. The falls are always.
Thanks!

"When all the devices are connected to the 2.4 network, it goes down and I have to restart the router or go down and up the 2.4 network to make it works again."

Does this mean all the 35 devices are connected to the 2.4G network, then the router went down, and the internet stops? Or 25 connects to the 2.4G and 10 connects to 5G? Is the Smart Connect feature on the router enabled or disabled? Try to disable it, then monitor.

How about the LED status on the router when the issue happen?

Ensure the router firmware is up-to-date.

Hello. The router is updated to the latest version available.
The problem occurs when there are 25 connections in 2.4. 35 connections to the network 2.4 are not made.
The lights on the router remain on normally. The internet connection does not go down, what goes down is the 2.4 network because the 5.8 network continues to work without problems.
I already tried with the Smart Connect option enabled and also disabled and in both options the same thing happens.
Any idea how to proceed?
Thanks!

Is there an Onemesh extender in the network? What if you remove it from the network temporarily, will the 2.4G of the AX20 be stable?

When the 2.4G stops working on the AX20, can you still 'see' its signal if you run a Wi-Fi analyzer on the computer?

What if you connect 20 devices to the 2.4G network, will the 2.4G also stop working? Or is there any special device that causes the network to stop?
