Small lapses lost connection
Small lapses lost connection
Hello all! I'm having trouble updating to the latest version available for "ARCHER C8 1.0" 1.5.7 Build 210308 Rel.60033n (5553). I experience small lapses of time where I lose connection to the internet throughout the day (
The WAN indicator light turns orange for 5-10 seconds
). This didn't happen to me before and I don't know how to downgrade. Any ideas? Try using another router and this does not happen.
i think the problem is here,
161 ERROR 0days, 04:03:50, [dnsproxy]register dns server detect error 162 INFO 0days, 04:03:50, [wan]advanced ddns -wanChanged 163 INFO 0days, 04:03:50, [dhcpc]Lease lost, entering init state 164 INFO 0days, 04:03:50, [dnsproxy]Register primary = 0x0, secondary = 0x0
161 ERROR 0days, 04:03:50, [dnsproxy]register dns server detect error
in my DNS settings I get the DNS from my ISP and there should be no problem as it was always like this before I updated the firmware, and other routers are working fine
I did the factory reset and the problem continues

@Kevin_Z Hello again,
I downgraded the C80 thinking it would work, however the problem continues
I try using the C80 as access point mode, connected from another router, and the internet is now stable, without interruptions. But it's not what I want, I want to use it independently.
This is not a solution really

It seems the engineers are working on the issue, it's suggested to check the updates with them directly, then update the community once the issue is confirmed and fixed. Thank you.

Hello @Jarax, we are happy to tell you that there is a new firmware for the Archer C80(US) V1, you can try to install it on your C80, then check the connectivity.
